BORTNER – On November 5, 1967, at 7:30 a.m., at her home, 176 North Main Street, Spring Grove, Mrs. Tersie J. Bortner, wife of the late George W. Bortner, aged 93 years, 3 months, 16 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. at St. Jacob's (Stone) Church. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the Sauter Funeral Home, Spring Grove, Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m.; also the body will lie in state at the church Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Tersie Bortner
Spring Grove – Mrs. Tersie J. Bortner, wife of the late George W. Bortner, died at 7:30 o’clock yesterday morning at her home, 176 North Main Street, following a lengthy illness. She was 93.
A daughter of the late Adam and Ellen Miller Rohrbaugh of Codorus Township, she was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church and the Sunday School.
She is survived by two sons, Allen R. Bortner, 142 West Highland Avenue, and Paul R. Bortner, 28 North Water Street, both of this place; two daughters, Mrs. Harry A. Glatfelter, 22 North Main Street, this place; and Ellen E. Bortner, at home; 23 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Clayton M. Rohrbaugh, 111 Fair Avenue, Hanover, and a sister, Mrs. Mamie Runkle, 210 Carlisle Street, Hanover.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church. Her pastor, Rev. George A. Heisey, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Dr. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, pastor of the Lutheran congregation. Interment will be in adjoining cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Sauter Funeral Home.
