Albert R Coe, aged 70, died in a Huntington, W.Va., hospital on Friday morning Sept. 5, 1941. Brother of some prominent Wirt countians and a former Wirt County school teacher, Mr. Coe was a son of the late Russell and Evaline Coe of Wirt County. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Coe, of Toledo, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Davis, of the Elizabeth-Palestine Road, and Miss Zora Coe of Elizabeth; and five brothers, Guy E. Coe, of Elizabeth; Cecil Coe, Palestine; Grover and Robert C. Coe, Parkersburg; and Charlie Coe of Great Bend, New York. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, Sept. 6, at the Palestine Baptist Church, with the Rev. K.T. Board officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery with the Pomroy undertakers in charge.
