Born June 21, 1921 in Micola, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Nellie Monroe and Mary Eugene Young Alford.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Eugene Terrett, four sisters, and two brothers.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Martha was united in marriage to Alton Terrett on February 21, 1944 in Caruthersville, Mo.
Mrs. Terrett leaves her husband, Alton Terrett, of Hayti; One son, James Terrett, of Hayti; One daughter, Sue Ann Robbins, of Hayti; Four grandchildren; and Eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Terrett were held at 2:00 p.m., Firday, January 25, 2002 at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel of Hayti with Rev. Johnny Durham and Rev. Randy Duda officiating.
Burial was at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti with John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti in charge.
Pallbearers were Mike Terrett, Joey Terrett, Paul Johnson, and James Fields.
