This community was saddened to hear of the death of Robert Carson, which occurred at Creston Friday. Bob was well known here having grown to manhood on his father's farm about one mile north of Ottawa and after he married and had a family of his own still lived on the same farm for several years, before moving to Creston. The funeral was held in Creston Tuesday and burial in Ottawa cemetery. Every one in this community sympathize with the family.
