"Mrs. Nora Roth, 88, Dies In Iowa; Rites Here Thursday
Mrs. Nora J. Roth, 88, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 1971, at the Satori Memorial hospital, Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was visiting at the home of her son, Albert, of Aplington, Iowa, when she became ill.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 1971 at the Stiver Home for Funerals with Rev. George Russell officiating. Burial will be in Strawn cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 - 9 Wednesday at the Stiver Home.
Mrs. Roth was born Nov. 2, 1883, at Strawn [Illinois], a daughter of William and Nancy Toll [Tole] Singer.
She married Sam C. Roth in 1901 in Forrest. He died in 1940.
Surviving are four sons, Lloyd of Van Wert, Ohio; Ralph, Fairbury; Howard, Pontiac [Illinois]; and Albert, Aplington, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, five brothers and one sister.
She was a member of the Strawn Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors of America."
