Mary Nell (Anderson) Brown, d/o William Thomas Anderson (1874-1926)& Nota Florence Kinnard (1883-1973), both buried in Smellage Cemetery, Boma, TN.

BAXTER Funeral services for Mary Nell Anderson Brown, 79, of Baxter will be held Saturday, April 8, at 2 p.m. in New Home Baptist Church. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Thursday, April 6, 1995, in Cookeville General Hospital.
Daughter of the late William Thomas and Nota F. Kinnard Anderson, she was born in Putnam County on August 18, 1915.
She was a retired teacher from the Putnam County School system, a homemaker and a member of New Home Baptist Church.
Her family includes two sons, Virgle Brown Jr. of Baxter and William David Brown of Ft. Benning, Georgia; three daughters, Nancy Jean Brown of Bristol, Virginia, Rosemary Brown of Baxter and Faith Elaine Adams of Goodlettsville; two sisters, Ora Mae Brown and Nuava Maynard, both of Baxter; two brothers, Hara Lee Anderson of Cookeville and L. M. Anderson of Warren, Michigan; and seven
grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgle Brown Sr.
The family will receive friends at Baxter Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today and Saturday morning. The body will then lie in state from noon until time of the service.
