COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Durell Anderson, 81, of Cookeville will be held Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson died Friday May 29 1992, at the Cookeville Heath Care Center.
Born August 19, 1910 in Putnam County, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Nota Kinnard Anderson. He was a retired salesman with Jere Whitson Hardware Co. and a U. S. Army veteran of World
War II.
His family includes three sisters, Ora Mae Brown, Mary Nell Brown, and Nuava Maynard all of Baxter; and three brothers, James Anderson of Baxter, Hara Lee Anderson of Cookeville and L. M. Anderson of
Warren, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lounell Brown Anderson.
Bro. Clarence Jared and Bro. Shelby Mainers will officiate at the service.
