Mrs. Mildred Kenyon Ewing, wife of Clayton Ewing, of 817 West Homer Street and for twenty-five years secretary of the Interstate Post-Graduate Medical Association, passed away in a Freeport hospital last night. Funeral services will be held at the Eichmeier & Becker funeral home, West Stephenson Street, at 3 o'clock (D.S.T.) Saturday afternoon. Rev. George F. Shepherd, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will conduct the services and interment will be made at Oakland. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kenyon, she was born in Freeport, Jan. 26, 1902. She was associated with the offices of the late Dr. W. B. Peck until 1941 and when offices of the Interstate Post-Graduate Medical Association were transferred to Madison, Wis., she continued her duties there until March 1, 1946, when she returned to Freeport because of ill health. Her marriage to Clayton Ewing took place May 9, 1942. She is survived by her husband. Her parents preceded her in death.
