In Freeport, September 8, 1896, Mr. Kenyon wedded Miss Lila E. Bechtold of Red Oak, Stephenson county. She was born in Lancaster township, this county, October 25, 1879, a daughter of Isaac and Jane (Wohlford) Bechtold, the former a native of Waddams township, this county, and now a resident of Silver Creek township, the latter likewise a native of Stephenson county. Mr. and Mrs. Kenyon have two children: Harold and Mildred. He is a republican in his political affiliations and since 1899 has been a member of Sherry Camp, No. 64, M. W. A. He is guided in all that he does by high principles of manhood and citizenship, and his life in its various phases and relations has been most honorable.

Charles F. Keynon, 77, a native of Freeport, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clayton B. (Mildred) Ewing, Madison, Wis., Saturday night......Funeral services will be held at the Eichmeier & Becker funeral home, West Stephenson Street, at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Anthony P. Landgraf, pastor of Second Presbyterian Church, will conduct the services and interment will be made at Oakland......He was born in Freeport Jan. 25, 1866. His wife and a son preceded him in death. The daughter is the only survivor.
