Mrs. Dorothy Maris Johnson Willhite, 80, of Martin, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at Volunteer Community Hospital.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home Chapel in Waverly with Bro. John Forgy of Trezevant and Bro. Scott Bond of Martin officiating. Burial will be in Richlawn Cemetery, Waverly.

Mrs. Willhite was born Oct. 3, 1930 in Waverly, daughter of the late Albert Lloyd and Mary Hust Johnson. She was the widow of George Dennis Willhite. She was a retired secretary for the Director of State Parks in Nashville and a member of Martin Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Denise W. and Steve Reynolds of Martin; one brother, Reese Johnson of Waverly; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Eulene Stokes of Lewisburg and Valoise and Jim Fuller of Clinton; two granddaughters, Maris and Wes Reynolds Boudreau of Warner Robins, Ga. and Sara Hust Reynolds of Nashville; and one great-granddaughter, Kaylan Grace Boudreau of Warner Robins.
