Mildred Pevy, 84, of Bangor, died on April 6, 2006. She was born on November 2, 1921 in Feather Falls, Calif, to Henry and Olive Ank.
She was an Oroville High School graduate and homemaker. She was a member of the Bangor Art Association and the Bangor Woman's Club. She was a professional cake decorator and a volunteer for the Bangor Blood Drive. She was the youngest and sole survivor of 10 children.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Pevy; son, Rodney Pevy and grandson, Shane Pevy. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Etter, Barbara Trosin, Mona Golden, and Connie Fowler; sons, Gary Pevy and Scrooge Pevy; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on April 14, 2006 at Scheer Memorial Chapel. [transcribed by Nancy Brower]
