Monday, April 11, 1977 – p. 2, col. 5: Lowell Christopher Ank, of Bangor Star Route, died Friday at his home. Mr. Ank was born Jan. 19, 1908, in Feather Falls. He was a retired logger, having been with the Feather River Pine Mills for 30 years. Mr. Ank was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by five sisters, Mildred Pevy of Bangor, Iamma Elam of Feather Falls, Rozella Hannun, Norabelle Brinsky, both of Sacramento, and Ravena Lonsberry of Oroville; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held tomorrow, April 12, at 10 a.m. in Mooretown Cemetery. Friends may call at Scheer Memorial Chapel until 8 p.m. today. [Transcribed by Nancy Brower.]
