On the 1891 city directory Henry was a laborer for Joseph Goss who had dairy on the east side of Texas Ave. south of Goss Ave. This was the same address given for his residence. On the 1900 - 1920 census he was living with his half-sister Emma who was married to Herman Krebs. They lived at 629 E. Chestnut St.
Henry did not marry. At the time of his death he was still living with Emma at 1878 Princeton Drive. He is buried with his parents, step parents and sister Josephine. He died from chronic prostatitis and cystitis (Certif. 18353).
