Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock for Lena Gay Breen. 13 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Breen, of near Hinton, who died Saturday evening at 6:00 o'clock at her home. Services were held at the residence with the Rev. H.P. Hackney. pastor of the Central Baptist church, in charge, and burial followed int eh Breen cemetery on Chestnut Mountain.
Miss Breen suffered a long illness of a heart condition, and during her illness received treatment at the Hinton hospital and at the c.& O. hospital in Clifton Forge, Va.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by the following brothers and sisters; a twin sister, Ida May Breen, Roy Frank, Marie Ilene, Billy Joe and Mrs. Beulah Switser, of Hinton; Luther E. and mike Breen of the U.S. Army; and Mrs. Elaine Westmoreland of Radford, Va. Two half-sisters, Mrs. Glenna Bennett and Mrs. Goldie Mary Bennett, both of Hinton, also survive.
