Billie Joe Breen, 88 of Hinton, arrived in Heaven on Sunday April 21, 2013 after a short illness.

Billie was born on Tug Creek Mountain on December 18, 1924 to Mick and Lou Annie Breen.

Billie had lived his entire life in Hinton and was of the Baptist faith. For over 23 years, Billie ran his business, Breen's Plumbing and Electric before retiring to his farm on Tug Creek Mountain. Billie was a U.S. Army, serving two years in Germany during World War II.

Besides his parents, Billie was preceded in death by all siblings; Goldie Bennett, Glenna Bennett, Evelyn Westmoreland, Eldridge Breen, Mike Breen, Ray Breen, Marie Breen, Ina Mae Scott, Lena Gay Breen and Beulah Switzer-Gill. Also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jack Richmond.

Billie is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janice Deeds Breen. Children, Carolyn Keaton, Debra Breen, Nancy Richmond, Peggy Janney & husband Brian, Lisa Bridges & husband Todd and only son, Jason Breen & wife Missy. Nine grandchildren, Beth, Audie, Nicole, Katrina, Keith, Brian, Matt, Carla and Emily. Sixteen great grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Janet Breen and special niece, Donna Sparks. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 23, 2013 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Cecil Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Breen Cemetery on Tug Creek Mountain near Hinton.
