MRS SOPHIA WEINGARTNER

Mrs. Sophia Weingartner, 79 years old, passed away in her home on the Ellwood-New Castle road this afternoon.

Funeral services will be announced on Monday.

WEINGARTNER RITES TO BE HELD TUESDAY

Ellwood City, May 26—Mrs. Sophia Weingartner, a life-long resident of this district, died Saturday noon at the age of 79, at the home of her son, Jesse G[eorge] Weingartner, New Castle road.

The funeral services will be held from the home of her son, J[esse] N. (sic.) Weingartner, on the New Castle road at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Thomas Berger, Slippery Rock Presbyterian church, will conduct the services.

Mrs. Weingartner was born in Wayne township in 1862 and is survived by her sons, Harry W. (sic.?) [Adam], Kopel road; William W[alter], Energy; Jesse G[eorge], New Castle road; and a daughter, Mrs. Dallas Houk, New Castle road. Another son, Clarence [Carl], preceded her in death. A brother [George] Wiley Cunningham resides at Fombell.

There are 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
