George Michael Rominger was the tenth of twelve known children of Michael Rominger (1759-1818) and Anna Maria Fishel Rominger (1758-1848), who married 18 Jun 1780 at Friedland, Surry (then Stokes, then Forsyth) County, North Carolina. The family lived their lives in the vicinity of the Moravian Community of Friedland, Surry (then Stokes, then Forsyth) County, North Carolina.

Some records show George was born 20 Nov 1795, but I will use the 30 Nov 1795 date.

George married Christina Anna Clauss (became Clouss) (1785-1864) at Dec 1818 at Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. The family (parents and all seven children) moved to the Moravian community of Hope, Bartholomew County, Indiana in 1834.

George and Christina were the parents of seven known children, namely:

1. Susan Mathilda "Matilda" Rominger Mow (1819-1898)
2. Anna Maria Rominger (1820-1820)
3. Jesse Rominger (1821-1875)
4. Johann Rominger (1823-1902)
5. Wiley J. Rominger (1826-1856)
6. Michael Rominger (1827-1911 (or 1905?))
7. Charlotte Rominger (c1826-???)

Links to George's parents, wife, five of his seven known children and ten of his eleven known siblings are included below.

The two children missing from the links below are:

7. Charlotte Rominger (c1826-???). Some records show she married a Keller. But this may be confused with Charlotte Martin Keller (1842-1893) who married Adam Keller.

If anyone had information on Charlotte, please let me know.
