Frances Sophronia (went by Verona) Shore was the eldest (or sixth?) of twelve known children of Michael Rominger (1759-1818) and Anna Maria Fishel Rominger (1758-1848), who married 18 Jun 1780 at Friedland, Surry (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina.

Most records show Verona was born 17 Dec 1788. Was her grave marker a stone-cutter's mistake? 1778 would have been two years before her parents were married.

Verona married Jacob Shore (1801-1852) on 24 Mar 1822 at Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Verona and Jacob were the parents of three known children, namely:

1. Solomon Shore (1823-1823)
2. William Shore (1824-1867)
3. Melvina Shore Hampton (1829-1866)

Links to Verona's parents, husband, all of her three known children and all of her eleven known siblings are included below.
