COOKEVILLE: Funeral services for Catharine Shanks Anderson, 67, of 3932 Old Stewart Road, Cookeville, will be at 1:00, Monday, October 21, from the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be
in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson died Friday, October 18, 1991 in Cookeville Hospital.
She was born March 12, 1924, in Putnam County, TN to the late Van Everett and Ellen Denton Maynard Shanks. She was a member of the New Home Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a grandson and a granddaughter.
Her family includes her husband, Hara Lea Anderson of Cookeville; two daughters, Judith Carol Thomas and Angela Joy Burgess of Baxter; two sons, Jerry Lee Anderson of Memphis and Nathan Paul Anderson of Cookeville; two sisters, Juanita Grisham of Memphis and Eunita Denton of Old Hickory; and 9 grandchildren.
Bro. Shelby Maniers will officiate at the services.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home anytime before the services.
