Clarence F Alvey, 67, of Route two, Clarkson died Dec 19 at his home. He is the son of George W Alvey and Carrie Frances Lush Alvey(error s/b Bertrude Bradley) rla. And the husband of Carrie Francis Lush Alvey. Survivors other than his wife include three daughters, Rita Milliner and Leoma Grant both of Leitchfield and Mary Frances Swenson of California; four sons, Wendall Alvey of Clarkson, Walter Alvey of Louisville, Leon Alvey and George Alvey both of Elizabethtown; four brothers, Paul Alvey of Louisville, Herman Alvey of Leitchfield and Colbert Alvey of Clarkson, five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec 21 at St Anthony Catholic church by the Rev Stephen Dunn with interment in St Anthyony Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
