Indian Family Holds Memorial For Father
Memorial services to which practically the entire Kiowa tribe was invited were held here last week for Satepauhoodle, well known Carnegie Indian who was killed in a train accident here a year ago.
The nine children of the deceased Indian planned and carried out the two-day program in remembrance of their father and appreciation of their tribal friends' sympathy and help. Knowing that all could not be accommodated at one time some were invited for Thursday and some for the following Sunday. Prayer services were held and a bountiful feast was prepared for each day.
Obit furnished by Lillian.
