Mrs.Bertha May Pugh,69 died at her home,1800 Third St. Tuesday at 8:35 p.m. (Waynesboro,Va. 22980)
She was born March 12,1894 in Waynesboro, a daughter of the late Will Jack and Louella McCauley Brown.
She was a member of the Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs.Pugh is survived by two sons,Taylor Fisher of Waynesboro,and Grover C.Fisher of Petersburg;two sisters, Mrs.Katie Yount of Crimora and Mrs. Willie Herbert of Waynesboro;two brothers; Jack Brown of Dooms,and Lee Brown of Crimora; nine grandchildren,13 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held in the Memorial Chapel of McDow-Tyree Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m.,conducted by the Rev. Scott Hutton.
Burial will be in Glen Kirk Chapel Cemetery.
