Mrs. Mary Louise Zimmerman of Hopewell township, died April 6, 1931. She was born October 20, 1848, the daughter of Eliza Atkinson Bowers and George Bowers. She was the widow of George H. Zimers [sic]. Surviving are the following children: Samuel and Charles of Hopewell, James H., Harrison and Robert R. of Yellow Creek, Mrs. E. M. Smouse of Waynesburg, Mary M. of Amherst, Massachusetts, Laverna M. at home, John M. of Everett, and B. Frank of Martinsburg. She is also survived by one brother, Albert Bowers of Pittsburgh, and one sister, Mrs. Eli Fluke of Harrisburg. Mrs. Zimmerman was a member of the Brethren Church. The funeral took place at the Reformed Church at Yellow Creek on Wednesday, with interment in the adjoining Church cemetery.
