Mrs. Evelyn C. Williams, 64, of 1022 South Ott Road, Columbia, died Saturday at her home. Born in Orangeburg County, she was a daughter of the late Mammie Hutto and Arthur Chavis. She was a member of Harbor Baptist Church in West Columbia. Surviving are a son, Jerry Wayne Hodek of Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Rosa Lee Williams of West Columbia; three brothers, Morgan, Earl and Harvey Chavis of Columbia; and a grandchild. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, conducted by the Rev. Emory Martin and the Rev. R. W. Blakely. Burial will be in Old Mount Beulah Church Cemetery.
