Orville Chapman, 82, of Robinson, died at 2:20pm Sunday, Sept. 29, 1991, in Van Dyke Convalescent Center at Effingham. He was a retired farm hand.
He was born Sept. 16, 1909 in Crawford County to Chester Arthur Chapman and Effie May Morris Chapman. His wife, Leona Faye Rich Chapman, died Oct. 12, 1985.
Survivors include: two sons, James LeRoy and Royce; three half-brothers, Howard Chapman, Warren Chapman, and Arthur Chapman; one sister, Reba Oschman; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. He was a member of Grand Prairie United Church of Christ.
Services are 1pm Friday in Pulliam Funeral Home. Burial is in New Cemetery.
