Phyllis I. Sackrider, 74, of Oblong, died at 7:16pm Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991, in Good Samaritan Hospital at Vincennes, Ind.
She was born Dec. 22, 1916, in Crawford County to Chester Chapman and Grace Garrard Chapman. Phyllis married Wayne Stanley Sackrider on April 17, 1937 in Sullivan County IN.
Survivors include: her husband, Wayne Sackrider; four daughters - Louise Newbold, Marie Fairgrief, Doris Gill, and Sharon Craig; one son, Larry Sackrider; five brothers - Arthur, Orville, Howard, Warren, and Lloyd; one sister, Reba Oschmann; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Senior Citizens Band of Casey and Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, near Annapolis. Services are 10am Friday in the church. Burial is in Hutsonville Cemetery.
