Funeral services will be at 10:30am Wednesday in West Union Christian Church with the Rev. Don Shanks officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery with graveside rites by American Legion Post 1130.
He was born October 24, 1922 in Oblong to Chester Chapman and Grace Garrard Chapman.
He was co-owner of Chapman Brothers Inc. of West Union and Casey for 37 years. He was a member of the West Union Christian Church, American Legion Post 1130 of West Union, and a US Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Miller Chapman; son, David Chapman; daughters, Karen Ellis, Brenda Booth, and Debbie McClellan; brothers, Howard Chapman, Arthur Chapman, Lloyd Chapman; sister, Reba Oschmann; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, four brothers, and one sister.
