11. William McPike father of Jesse b. 1750 County Tyrone, Ireland; married in Ireland; died before 1825 TN; Obedience Holloway mother of Jesse b. 1763 Ireland d. 1844 Lawrence C., IN. This cemetery is about three miles north east of Troy Mills which is Linn County, Iowa. Cemetery is in Buchanan County.

*Inquiry to LDS Library-William McPike and wife Obedience (Holloway) McPike came from Tyrone or Londonderry, Ireland (?), to United States States; were in Virginia by 1765. Want information on them and on Roger and Benjamin McPike. William had nine children: William McPike Jr.; Sarah McPike; Mary McPike; John McPike; Charlotte McPike; Obedience McPike, James McPike, Jesse McPike, John McPike, and Jane McPike. First three children stayed in Ireland and rest in NC., Va., or Tenn, Isle of Fauquier or Culpepper Cos. Family left Virginia in 1794; went to Cocke County, Tennessee, where William died in 1794. Mother Obedience, and family went to Indiana in 1825. She supposidly died in 1828., Lawrence County, Indiana. Son Jesse and family went to Iowa in 1852. Mrs. Harold Geigle 18903 S.E.
