Daughter of Henry Beemer (1781-1863) and Mary Spangenberg (1783-1862). Wife of Jeptha P. Mittan. An obituary for Mrs. Jane Mittan was found in the Bible of Judson and Esther (Miller) Beemer, last in possession of Elvin H. Beemer, of Bedford, Iowa; now deceased. There was no name or date of the newspaper from which it was clipped, and it is very long, so I will not attempt to post it here.
