Son of Henry Beemer(1781-1863)& Mary Spangenberg (1783-1862)of Falls Twp.,Luzerne Co., Pa Adam born in Sussex Co., N.J. His parents early settlers Luzerne Co.,Pa. 1818/19. Adam's wife Ann Evans (1819-1894).

"Mr. Adam Beamer died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lillie Harned of Dixon, Illinois at 5:30 PM on January 23, 1901, as a result of an attack of the grippe.
The deceased was born August 31, 1816, near Milford, Sussex Co., NJ. About 1820 his parents moved to Luzerne Co., PA. In 1838 he was united in marriage to Ann Evans. In 1852 they moved west and settled in Lee Co., Ill. in which county they rounded out their life work. Mrs. Beamer died about seven years ago.
There were 6 children in the family, two sons and four daughters, all of whom are living, viz: Mrs. M. E. Burley of Port Byron, Illinois; Mrs. H. B. Cobb of Compton; Mrs. Martha Carnahan of New York City; E. E. Beamer of Aurora; Frank O. Beamer of Iola, Kansas and Mrs. Lillie Harned of Dixon.
The funeral services were held in Dixon Thursday afternoon and interment at Melugins Grove at 9 o'clock Friday morning." The photo of the old tombstone, shown on this site, shows he was born Aug. 30, 1916, his obiturary shows the 31st.
