Mrs. Martha Stone, wife of Winfield Stone, and daughter of David and Margaret Storm, died at her home in Ash Grove of heart failure Thursday. Death was entirely unexpected and came with crushing force. The funeral services were held at the Ash Grove church Saturday afternoon, Elder Harrell officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Stone was born Jul. 12, 1854 and was married Feb. 15, 1873. Two children were born of this union, the younger of which survives her mother. Mrs. Stone was a faithful member of the Ash Grove congregation, having united with the church at the age of 16 years. The bereaved family have the sympathy of their many friends.
