Gaddis, Noah, Mrs. - Mrs. Elizabeth Gaddis, widow of Noah Gaddis, died Sunday afternoon, 5 Mar 1919, at her home in Windsor, after only a few days' intense illness. Brief services were held at the home Tuesday morning and the casket was taken to Ash Grove Christian church, of which she had been a member for several years and funeral and burial services wre held there. The Rev. Charles Coleman of Gosport, IN, officiated. Mrs. Gaddis, who was a daughter of David and Eliza Storm, was born in Ash Grove township, 8 Jun 1841, and passed her entire life in Shelby county. She was married to Mr. Gaddis in 1858 and over 50 years they lived together, he dying five years ago. Six children were born to them but only four are living - Mrs. Katherine Abercrombie, [??] Webb, Mrs. Lillie Hart, and Wilbur H. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and three brothers, W. A. and Eli of Ash Grove and Isaac N. of Belleview, NM. Mrs. Gaddis was very domestic in her tastes but she was a woman who retained her friendships thru life and was greatly loved by those with whom she came in contact. - Windsor Gazette - Thursday - 9 Mar 1916
