Aunt Margaret Storm, or Aunt Peggy Storm, was she was familiarly called, passed peacefully away at her home in Ash Grove last Saturday night. She had been in poor health for several years and for 10 weeks had been confined to her bed. She lived her entire life and died in sight of the place where she was born and had lived contemporary with the Storm, Currys, Sexsons, Cochrans, Bennetts, and all those grand old people that first settled in Ash Grove and founded one of the best communities in this part of the state. Her maiden name was Margaret A. Price and she was born in Ash Grove, Jul. 31, 1828, and departed this life, Oct. 26, 1901, aged 73y 2m 25ds. She was married to David L. Storm, Oct. 23, 1847. To them were born nine children, six of whom preceded her to the home beyond, and two sons and one daughter survive, viz; Eliza C. Bridges of Stewardson, Isaac Storm of Vorhies, and Eli E. Storm of Ash Grove. She united with the Christian church at Ash Grove when 16 years of age and lived a devoted Christian life, full of faith in Christ and hope in God to the last. She was one of a family of nine children, only one of whom survives, Mrs. Rachael Clawson. The funeral services were held at Ash Grove church, Monday, conducted by Elder A. H. Harrell, in the presence of a very large assembly of relatives and friends. The remains were laid to rest in Ash Grove cemetery. Her entire life was spent in sight of Ash Grove church and she was respected by the entire community. Windsor Gazette - 31 Oct 1901
