Born July 20, 1916 at Fillmore, she was the daughter of Joe and Lilly (High) Campbell. She married Vern R. Runnells on April 11, 1934. He preceded her in 1994. She was a member of the Coatesville Christian Church.

She is survived by three sons, Wayne and Paul Runnells, both of Greencastle and Glen Runnells of Coatesville; three daughters, Wanda Glaze and Mavis Broadstreet, both of Coatesville, and Beverly Sinclair of Clinton; a son-in-law, Arthur Kenworthy of Danville; a daughter-in-law, Dottie Perkins of Reelsville; a sister Doris Wulle of Anderson; three brothers, Curtis Smith of Fore City, N. C., Roy Smith and Herschel Smith, both of Yuma, Arizona; a sister-in-law, Ruth Pritchett of Danville; a cousin, Annis George of Amo; 35 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her foster parents, Glen and Erie Duncan, two daughters, Margaret Juanita Kenworthy and Marjorie Oneita Davidson; a son, Ray Runnells; a grandson, a great-grandson, a great-great-grandson, four sisters and three brothers.
