ISADORE A. WATRY
Isadore A. Watry, 74. of St. Anna, a retired carpenter, died early Sunday at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, where he had been a patient three weeks. He is survived by 80 direct descendents. He was born Nov. 14, 1898 in the Town of Stockbridge, a son of the late Dominic and Anna Samport Watry. On Aug. 23, 1921 he married Magdaline Karls in Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Jericho.

The couple later moved to St. Anna wnere Mr. Watry engaged in the carpentry trade. He was self employed in later years. retiring two years ago. The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in August 1971. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church at St. Anna.

Survivors are his widow; a son, Jerome of Pipe; nine daughters. Mrs. Edward (Lucille Halbach of St. Anna, Mrs. Robert (Leonna) Ortlieb and Mrs. Raymond ( Romilda) Vogel, both of Chilton, Mrs. Henry (Angeline) Schuh of Kiel, Mrs. James (Delores) Halbach, Mrs. Edmund (Bernadine) Halbach and Mrs. Peter (Lorraine) Winkel, all of Marytown. Mrs. Paul (Patricia) Rieder of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Ellsworth (Joanne) Thome of Johnsburg; 61 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.
He also leaves three brothers, John of Milwaukee, Ado of Fredonia and Victor of rural Chilton; and three sisters. Mrs. Anastasia Schaefer of rural Chilton, Mrs. Theodore Jacky of rural Malone and Mrs. Isabell Schmit of Francis Creek. An infant son, grandson, four brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church following brief family rites at 9:30 at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. Raymond Conard, pastor, will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services Thursday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
