Emil Watry, Resident Of Kiel For Many Years, Summoned. Kiel. -Emil Watry, aged 39, a resident of Kiel for the past several years, passed away at the State hospital at Madison, Saturday, at 3 a.m., where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. Mr. Watry had undergone
an operation which proved fatal.

The deceased, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Watry, was born in the town of Stockbridge, on September 9, 1894. He was married to Miss Mathilda Grewe of Chilton, February 26, 1919, and the couple located on a farm in the town of Stockbridge, where they resided for 8 years. In 1927, they sold the farm and moved to Kiel where Mr. Watry was in the employ of the Kiel Wooden Ware company.

To the couple were born two daughters. Survivors are his wife, two daughters,Marion, age 14, and Evelyn, age 12; his father, Dominic Watry of Stockbridge; three sisters, Mrs. Mathias Schaefer, of Stockbridge; Mrs. Theodore Jacky of Brothertown, and Mrs. John E. Schmitt, of Cedar Lake, near Kiel; and six brothers, Edward Watry of Sherwood; Adolph, of Stockbridge; Isadore, of St. Anna; Ado, of Fredonia; Henry, of Cleveland, Ohio; and Victor, of Calumet. Mr. Watry's youngest daughter, Evelyn, on Sunday morning, received First Solemn Communion, at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church, and on Ascension day, both daughters will be confirmed at the church, a day after their father's funeral.

The body was removed to the family residence, 726 Chicago street, on Monday afternoon, where it can be viewed until the time of the funeral, on Wednesday morning, at 9 o'clock. At 9:30 o'clock services will be held at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church. The Rev. Father J.J. Esdepsky will officiate, and burial will be made in the church cemetery, near Kiel. Pallbearers will be Frank Klaeser, Frank Muehlbauer, Rudolph Wendling, John Kautzer, Earl Madison and William Scholz. The mother of the deceased, a sister, Mrs. George Gruber, and a brother, Charles R. Watry, preceded him in death several years ago.
