George W. Mitchell, of this city, will have the sympathy of friends in the death of his mother, Bernice G. Bramel, 57, which occured Sunday at Booth Hospital, Covington.
A retired sales clerk for the S.S. Kresge Store in Newport, Mrs. Bramel, wife of Ollie R. Bramel, is a former resident of Maysville.
Surviving besides her son and husband are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse U. Garrett, of Alexandria, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Stevenson, of Alexandria, Ky.; three sons, Robert E. and Danny Bramel, both of Newport; Tom Bramel, of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren; one brother, Houston Garrett, of Lexington; four sisters, Mrs. Marietta Crist and Mrs. Georgia Toy, both of Maysville; Mrs. Ora Todd, of Lexington, and Mrs. Katherine Schweitzer, of Alexandria, Ind.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Radel Funeral Home, Newport.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
