Houston H. Garrett, 83, of Maysville, died at 1:20 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2000 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Mr. Garrett was a salesman with Hudson's Furniture of Lexington. He was the widower Rebecca Jane Garrett who died August 27, 1994. He was born in Lewis County on November 26, 1916 to the late Jesse U. and Ida Margaret Leming Garrett.
Surviving are three sisters; Katherine Schweitzer of Alexandria, IN., Ora Todd of Lexington, and Georgia Toy of Dover. Services were held Monday, January 24, at Brell and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Truett Cocanougher officiating. Burial was in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation was held prior to the service, Monday, at the funeral home.
