MAYSVILLE- Mrs. Marietta Garrett Crist, 84, died Tuesday evening in Meadowview Regional Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Springdale, Ky., on Jan. 25, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Underwood and Ida Margaret Leming Garrett.
Surviving are two sons, Joe McNutt Jr., of Maysville, and Donald C. McNutt, of Moransburg; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Stevens, of Maysville, and Mrs. Marilyn Bulman, of Avon, Ohio; one brother, Houston (Rebecca) Garrett, of Maysville; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Todd, of Lexington; Mrs. Katherine Schweitzer, of Alexandria, Ind., and Mrs. Georgia Toy, of Maysville; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Bernice Bramel.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Brell and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Robinson will officiate and burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held after 6 p.m. today.
