Obituary on funeral home web site: Chapin - Services for Prema Bouknight Epting, 74, will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, November 18, 2002 at Bethel Lutheran Church, White Rock with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 17, 2002 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church. Mrs. Epting, wife of the late Elon V. Epting, died Friday, November 15, 2002. Born in Irmo, April 02, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Carrie D. Bouknight. She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church and a retired employee of G.E. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Carl Derrick of Chapin and Donna and Roger Crouch of Irmo; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Teresa Epting of Chapin; grandchildren, Carla Derrick, Nikki D. and Charlie Sansbury, Jesse Epting, Alison Jackson, Megan Epting and Dylan Epting; brothers, Frank Bouknight of Prosperity, Jimmy Bouknight of Irmo, Donald Bouknight of Irmo and Pat Eouknight of Irmo; and sister, LaDelle Oxley of Irmo and many friends. She was predeceased by brothers, 'Doc' and Ray Bouknight.
