She was a member of the Raintown Ladies Aid and was always ready to help. She had been afflicted for about 22 years, but the last serious sickness lasted about eight weeks. During this time, she was patient, kind and loving, even through her suffering. She was a good wife, a good and loving mother, and the grandchildren have lost a precious grandmother.
The funeral was held at the residence with Rev. Fruits of the Lizton Methodist Church preaching the sermon and she was laid to rest in the K. of P. Cemetery in Lizton.
