Ruby C. Windes, 95, of Richland, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 in Richland.
She was born March 19, 1917 in Richland, Mo. to Porter and Alma Wall George.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe Windes, and by six sisters, Clarice Appling, Marie Walker, Floy Landreth, Fern Ballenger, Gail Del Principe, and Thetis Alma George.
She was retired from the International Shoe Company, which later became H.D. Lee in Richland.
She was a member of Glover Chapel Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, George (Beverly) Windes of Richland; David (Janet) Windes of Texarkana, Texas, and Mike (Ann) Windes of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, also other relatives.
Funeral services for Ruby C. Windes will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 at Glover Chapel Church of Christ with Ronnie Wade and Dan Wissinger officiating, Burial will be in Glover Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
