Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday and continuing until funeral time.
The funeral will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland with religious services following at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow in the Cheramie Cemetery.
Survivors include four sons, Irvin, Constant, Edless and Jackin Lafont; one daughter, Mrs. Ophelia Chouest; one sister, Mrs. Theogene Melancon; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loveless Lafont; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jackin Cheramie; one son, Widless; and one daughter, Dovey Ann.
