Fowler b.abt 1810 in Barren Co., KY & d.23 Feb 1887 in Leatherwood, Adair Co., KY and who were married 26 Mar 1829 in Cumberland Co., KY.
Please note that it is possible that George was born George Robert Henry Akin. While I have not been able to prove this yet, members of his family state this to be a fact. To support this, I have seen many times in my Kentucky Akin Family children given 3-4 names plus their surname.
George joined the Union Forces with Company C, 13th Kentucky Calvary Regiment on 23 Dec 1863 (16 yrs old) and mustered out on 10 Jan 1865 (18 yrs old).
