Madeline Stoltz, 80, of Olney, died at 1:43 p.m. May 20, 1999, at Olney Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Dr. Larry Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery in Claremont. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stoltz was born October 22, 1918, in Richland County, the daughter of Ben and Ethel (Hughes) Parsons. She married Wilvin Stoltz August 26, 1939, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death June 4, 1990.

Mrs. Stoltz was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Fellowship Church of Olney.

She is survived by one son, Daniel Stoltz and his wife Kay, of Olney; two brothers, Charles Parsons, of Fairfield and Ben Everette Parsons, of Enid, Okla; three sisters, Marjorie Baker and Willena Jones, both of Noble and Ida Dickerson, of Olney; two grandchildren, Cole Aaron Stoltz and Carolyn Biagi, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Pauline Bradfield.

Memorials may be made to the Bible Fellowship Church or Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
