89-year-old Fairfield resident, Charles N. Parsons died at 11 p.m. Monday, August 5 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. A U.S. Army Veteran of WW II, he served as an MP in Germany. He worked as an auto body repairman for Cleo Xanders, repairing and repainting cars for many years.
Survivors include:
Three daughters
One sister
Two grandchildren.
The body was cremated with a memorial service set at 2 p.m. Monday, August 12 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in the Veterans Section of Maple Hill Cemetery with military rites.
Visitation were held from 1 p.m. Monday, August 12 until the time of service at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
