HOMER MARRS CURRY
Services for Homer Marrs Curry, 68, of Rt. 1, Box 521, Oregon City will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 31, at 1:30 p.m. at Holman-Hankins-Rilance funeral home in Oregon City.
Rev. Horace Bachelder will officiate. Burial will follow at Willamette National Cemetery.
Mr. Curry died in Oregon City Saturday. He was born at Goldson, Ore. in Lane County, Jan. 19, 1895 and had been a resident of this state his entire life and of this community for 45 years.
He had worked as an engineer for some 30 years, retiring in 1945. He was a member of the IOOF No. 3; Falls Encampment No. 4; Multnomah Lodge No. 1, AF and AM; the V.F.W. and was a veteran of World War 1.
Survivors include four brothers, Charles and Ernest of Oregon City; Luther of Gladstone and Warren of Portland; two sisters, Miss Florence Curry of Oregon City and Mrs. Bertha White of McMinnville; and aunt, Mrs. Christie Marrs of Seattle and several nieces and nephews. His parents and three brothers preceeded him in death.
