Services for Earnest M. Curry, 76, of Oregon City will be at Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud on Friday at 2 p.m., under the auspices of IOOF Oregon Lodge 3. Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery. He died at his home Nov. 19.
A Corvallis native, he moved to Oregon City in 1918. He was a comber tender at Pendleton Woolen Mills. He served in WWII in the U.S. Army and was a member of IOOF Lodge 3.
He is survived by two brothers, Luther of Oregon City and Charles of Gleneaden Beach; a sister, Bertha White of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews.

Police Probe Homicide
Oregon City police are seeking residents' assistance in investigating the apparent homicide death of an elderly Oregon City man.
Ernest M. Curry, 76, of 19147 South Central Point Road, was found dead at his home at 3 p.m. Friday.
According to Dective John Arnold, Curry was found by some relatives after they had attempted to contact him for several days without success.
Arnold declined to comment on the cause of death, but said detectives are considering robbery as a "probable Motive"
He said police have asked persons having information that could be helpful in the case to contact the police department.
