"Marian McKean Newson Peterson, 40, Bountiful, died Sunday, 5:30 p.m. in a Salt Lake City hospital from a heart ailment.

Born in Salt Lake City March 2, 1916, a daughter of Robert C. and Margaret McKean Newson. She was married to A. Foss Peterson in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served in the 29th Ward Junior Sunday School superintendancy and was active in Primary and attended Salt Lake City schools.

Survivors: husband, and a son, A. Foss, Jr., both of Bountiful; parents and following brothers and sisters: Ted M. Newson, Salt Lake City; Howard M. Newson, Moab; Mrs. Lewis (Marjoried) Whetman, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Frank (Edna) Eggett, Woods Cross.

Funeral Wednesday, 12:15 p.m. in the Val Verda Ward chaple, 6525 S. 200 W., Bountiful, with Bishop Don Wood officiating.

Friends may call at 255 S. 2nd E., Tuesday evening and at the ward chaple one hour prior on Wednesday."
