Philo is buried next to his wife, Eliza Ann. Philo married Eliza Ann Smith on 14 April 1835 in Coventry Twp., Portage County (now Summit). The census records for Ohio 1840 show that he lived in South Akron, Ohio with wife Eliza. Their children were Elizabeth H., Clarissa L. and Emeline A.
